Emily Sofaer is a song collector and composer influenced by the folk and Classical traditions. For awhile, she wrote and performed with a group called The Wild Poppies when she was living in Brooklyn, and opened for people such as The Virgins and Duncan Sheik. These days, she likes to play at traditional sessions and at The Rail Trail Café.
